Artist description
“Out of nothing” describes the bands origin: Prior to X-nihilo, the bass and guitar player were in an X-cessively self-indulgent metal band. This band became X-tremely violent and abusive to everything it touched. Gradually, their love for the music, among other things, was over-shadowed by the need for X-tra-curricular activities. So, X-cept for the blurry effects of the drugs and alcohol, they received nothing out of this band, or the lifestyle it garnered. Fortunately, God X-tended His mercy on these two no-gooders and blessed them with a new vision. (X-ray if you will). The newly born-again Christians, X-ceedingly glad to be taken “out of nothing”, began using their God-given talents for good. Soon, they recruited a lovely “chick” drummer and a wiry singer - known for his X-cellent showmanship - completing the X-tended family – X-nihilo…X-quisite! |

Press Reviews
“…The band was X-Nihilo. What?? A chick drummer?! Rock most on… on a leopard-print kit, nonetheless. These guys were a pleasant surprise. Not only were they M.E.T.A.L but they also had an even balance on the stage and several ounces of fun thrown in for good measure. Their bassist has the best bass-face ever.
Nothing could save them from being overshadowed by Terry O’Connor though. Who is Terry O’Connor? I don’t know. He’s a kid short enough to stand underneath the neck of the bass while bringing the noise. When he was invited onstage I was nave enough to think ‘how cute’. My jaw was promptly hanging the f@#* open as he exploded into an epileptic-like fit with the first chords of the song. I loved it. The Kid had it going on. He brought more energy to the stage than any performer that evening. Props to Terry. *metal sign*” -J. Faulkner (Dallasmusic.com)
