Artist History Born in Colne, Lancashire, England SMIILE is John Aggus. As well as using cutting edge recording software SMILLE has obtained many of his sounds whilst travelling the globe. Recording 'in the field' using a trusted Sony MZR50 minidisk SMIILE has visited places such as India, Nepal, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Oz, USA and Peru. Using samples from these recordings as well as composing his own unique sound SMIILE hopes to provide interesting music to chill to.
