Artist description
What began as a contemporary metal group in 2001, blossomed into a dark and surreal world that Obscurare has become known for. Their music has been called “Enchanting” “Beautiful” and “Creepy”, creating worlds within worlds, and pushing the boundrys of hardcore music. After it’s 2 CDs released in 2002, Obscurare had already built up a fan base as well as many positive reviews from music critics. After the release of Metus ex Musica, Obscurare’s Composer James W.G. Smith took a hiatus from writing for the group, to explore other possibilities. It is unknown if they will release another CD. |
