Artist description I'm a youngish single 40 year old who's been playing piano since the age of 7. I have composed dozens of tunes and really enjoy playing them for myself. Having very little outlet for my music in Adelaide, South Australia I am hoping that I can gain an audience in the big wide world!

Artist History I've played in bands of one type or another since I was 12. Main bands were pop/rock bands where I played synthesizers and electronic pianos. Bands I've been in include (in chronological order) Spanish Holiday, Bliss Bombs, Zurich Zoo, Friendly Fire, Coalface and Creekwater. These were all Australian bands in Southern Australian States. While playing with these bands I have continually written my own tunes, but most were unsuitable for pop/rock bands to play and over the last ten years (say since 1992) I've put more emphasis into my own material. Although it's mostly solo piano tunes that I'm uploading, many of my tunes are crying out for lyrics and I encourage anyone who feels they have an affinity with my music to contact me at davemalcolm@picknowl.com.au

Press Reviews I've won many band performance competitions and demo tape competitions over the years. I even won an Australian TV talent show (New Faces). Although none of these achievements ever led to anything substantial they provided encouragement and consequently I'm still looking for accolades!
