Artist History
Tiger Jack began as an casual no-name punk band in the summer of 2000. Three of the current members were part of the band at this time: Eric on vocals, John on bass, and Jeremy on drums. Then with the addition of Jonathan on guitar in the fall of 2000, the band took off. In the spring of 2001, we recorded our first CD, which was never professionally reproduced, so it is extremely rare. We played our first "big" gig early in the summer of 2001, and headlined our second big gig. Then we split up to go to college, but still managed to go into the studio over Christmas break. Check us out! The songs here are off the new album, Forever and a Day. |

Press Reviews
"Is it Christian Punk, or Christian Emo? One way or the other it is honest, and incredibly ernest. While some of the more Sid Vicious brand of punk out there may take serious umbrage at any of the melodic overtones that a term like "Emo" might imply, Tiger Jack wouldn't sweat that, or any other characterization. If nothing else, they are pretty mature about the philosophy behind their music. They have a compassionate and empathetic touch to their music that a lot of high-school aged bands seem to have trouble imparting, amongst the inevitable angst and rebellion so popular in the genre. Tiger Jack are young, cheerful and concerned. The music is bright, energetic, and leans towards melodic punk, a style that lends itself to their message perfectly."
