Artist description this_digital_existance is a combination of sounds that are harsh, peaceful, and uplifting. Hard house beats, funky drum breaks, samples, guitars, and voice are fused together. All of these sounds are a part of the aural assault. There is no label or genre that defines this_digital_existance. this_digital_existance encompasses all that ever existed and all that is to come. There is no framework for this_digital_existance. There is only constant evolution in musical expression.

Artist History v1.0 - circa 19.98 The dj likwid project began at the dawn of the year 19.99. After acquiring a taste for electronic (dance, industrial, acid, electronica) the dj began an attempt to express that musical taste. While listening to such artists as the prodigy, the chemical brothers, the crystal method, ultraspank, and static-x he decided to fuse the upbeat rhythms and grooves of electronica with the power of the industrial/new metal movement that he was already involved in with his 4 man set Infrared. The first likwid production was a track called "feelgood". Grooving like a trance escape and getting funky like a beastie's instrumental, the song set the tone for what was to come from dj likwid. Although built on a dance/electronica vibe, anything was possible and all genres could meld together if the sound was right. After a period of years developing tracks, one of the worst possible events occurred. The entire collection of samples and loops that had been collected and cut over the past years had become corrupt. An attempt to recover these essential sounds began and during this time it was deemed necessary to incorporate a new name and philosophy toward further productions. v2.0 - circa 20.00 Thus begins the era of the_digital_existance. Not one man; not one vision, but an openness to all that is possible and an acceptance of the digital future and its' control over all that exists.
