Artist History
Bruce Callaway and Murray Kidd met via an ad
in the local press and decided to form a band
and write songs. Over a number of months,
they forged a strong partnership
together.
Other players were added as soon as they had
enough original songs.
Sean O'Shea was found first. Sean was excellent
bass player from the local scene. Sean knew of
a great drummer who had just arrived from
England. Mickey Gibson who is a super hot
drummer. Redmill were born.
Despite their strong songs and ability, Redmill
were ahead of the local scene and struggled to
gain acceptance. All was not lost as they
recorded a number of songs during this time
which are available here.
I hope you enjoy these recordings as a
good example of the band in fine form.
