Press Reviews Not constrained by the shackles of normality, the 'Sex Club having succeeded in crossing musical styles and boundaries to create a fresh, electronic rock sound that defies both comparison and refuses to be pigeon holed. They are able to perform fantastically both as a live guitar band and as a digital drum machine/sampler based techno rock group. They continue to render audiences speechless with their frenetic, raucous live shows and never fail to deliver the musical quality that is now expected of them. The four Milton Keynes based members, Ben Moore, Dan Layne, Colin Rew and Dan Bowen have cited such influences as Aphex Twin, Nirvana, Super Furry Animals, Metallica and Gary Numan, all of which are evident in their music. A beautiful blend of anthemic rock, twisted and torn with Numan-esque keyboard riffs all delivered at breakneck speed.
