Artist History TWO SUN SYSTEM is a new Boston rock band with a sound that shares influences from hard rock, roots rock, and eighties pop. Formed in the spring of 2001 by Adam Kelley (Bass), Craig Thomas (Drums/Vocals), Craig Silverman (Guitar/Vocals) and Eric Stevenson (Vocals/Guitar), these four musicians have garnered a wide array of experience. Silverman and Stevenson were founding members of Century Media recording artists ONLY LIVING WITNESS. This widely popular Boston hardcore/metal act released two albums and completed two successful European tours, performing with the likes of SICK OF IT ALL, THE CRO-MAGS, and LEEWAY. Stevenson, who switched from the drums he played in OLW to vocals and guitar, later formed the band HANK CRANE with Kelley and Thomas. This Boston alt-country band received wide college radio play and critical accolades, and performed with such headliners as RIVERS CUOMO (WEEZER), THE OLD 97S, and SLOBBERBONE. During that time, Silverman played bass for Boston punk favorites THE SHODS on their east coast tour with THE MIGHTY MIGHTY BOSSTONES. In addition, they have kept busy with side projects. Stevenson recorded a college radio-popular solo album, Kelley played with THE OMEN SIGNAL (ex-OTIS), and Thomas played for DAVE AARONOFF & THE DETAILS (ex-SHODS/BOSSTONES). Re-grouping and reassessing their interests in 2001, the four decided to form a new band: TWO SUN SYSTEM. With a die-hard love for old favorites such as KISS, VAN HALEN, THE CARS, and THE SMITHS, TWO SUN SYSTEM incorporates a guitar-driven sound with pop hooks and three-part harmonies.
