Artist description
Rockford, Il just may be home to one of the most innovative bands of the new millennium. The Heavils revolutionary sound comes from their instruments (called Meanies) they designed and built themselves. These meanies are a hybrid guitar/bass emitting sounds never heard before. While the vocalists split the lyrics that demand the listener's attention, it is no wonder the Heavils have been turning heads in the Midwest. People are starting to notice every show seems to get bigger than the last. With crazy onstage antics and songs full of hooks, the Heavils make the songwriters that make the young girls cry, cry themselves. It is easy to see how the Midwest has been Heavilized and why the Hevolution continues to spread around the country.
n just a short year, the Heavils have been on top radio stations, 104.9 WXRX, 97 WZOK, 94.1WJJO, winning fans from Illinois to Canada. After being together for only a few months, they played Rockford's "On the Waterfront Festival", an annual event, which draws hundreds of thousands of people throughout the Midwest to hear three days of music along the Rock River. This past winter, they took a trip to Winnipeg, Canada to play at a club known to host cutting edge bands that don't play the same old run of the mill music.
Join the Hevolution! They say that seeing is believing, but you will not believe your eyes at this show. It is super guaranteed that you have never been involved in anything like this before. Come experience the energy, get Heavilized!!! You will leave with a renewed faith in the Midwest music scene.
