Artist History
Stamp'd originated in 1997 when some good ol' boys, never meaning no harm, realized that chicks dig musicians. Working to prove this theory true, our heroes burst onto the ska scene just in time to watch it die. Luckily, they still managed to hold their own with a small but loyal fan base. Through the years, Stamp'd has played many an interesting venue; from the Blind Pig to Bob's Bar, the Flint Local 432 to Jamestowne Hall, The CAGE Art Gallery and the Lantern, and many other venues too numerous (embarrassing) to list. Stamp'd is not just a band but a way of life. To play ska is to be ska. They rock hard, so you don't have to. Their mission: To live carefree, without money, fame, or responsibilities, to dream, to rock... Stamp'd is everything and nothing; everywhere and nowhere. So they've got that going for them...which is nice. Ska prepared fresh daily! Mother-tested, kid-approved! Stamp'd, the best damned ska band you've never heard!
