Artist History
Mourning Would? was formed in the year of our lord, 2000. Despite a few line-up changes in the beginning, the band has now found the right chemistry to create ear soothing, melodic alternative rock with diversity. Focus has always been consistent to provide their ever-supportive fan base with the best possible music. Mourning Would? is a Dallas based band that is currently expanding geographically to bring more people closer to the Would?. They take nothing for granted and are always striving to improve both on and off the stage.
Mourning Would? consists of Gerald Clark singing front vocals and playing rhythm guitar, J.T. Elliott also on lead guitar, Lazarus Hamilton lays out the rhythm on bass guitar, and Jason Clark on the drums. Each member of Mourning Would? is
self-taught on his respective instrument. They are able to take this raw talent and blend it together to form a great sound.
Each member of Mourning Would? has a wide array of musical interests styles , and it reflects in the beautiful chaos of bliss-full sounds they create. They are fans of all music, from the soft light songs to adrenaline pumping jams. The Would? does not like to limit themselves to one genre.
The year 2002 has marked a year of spectacular accomplishment for the band. They are meeting their goals and setting new ones with a refuse to lose attitude. With experiencing the opportunity to play all over the Dallas area, Mourning Would? is stepping in and is simply not willing to leave. They are working toward the ultimate goal, quitting their day jobs and concentrating solely on playing music for the masses. The sky is the limit for Mourning Would?, and the future looks very promising.
