Artist History (This is the perspective of how it all began from a person outside of the band): At the start it was Nate F. on vocals, Ryan on guitar, Paul on guitar, Owen on bass and Nate number two on drums. After realizing that Owen (A) had no bass and (B) didn't know how to play bass, a search for a bassist was on. That's how Brandon was found. Nate number two lived too far away and couldn't get to all of the practises. That's where Rawb came in. Our first performance was for a student auction at our school, Jean Vanier. Paul's sister Asia got us in to play two songs. We had basically two weeks to get our material together and make it sound tight before the auction. Fortunately for us, the auction was postponed and we were able to get a couple more weeks of practise in. The big day came and we showed our stuff. Despite crappy sound and volume levels, we got rave reviews from all of our friends-of course they might have just said that because they ARE our friends. We all decided that we were serious about doing this band thing on a regular basis and everyone had to be committed to the cause. Everyone was, but there was one problem. Rawb didn't have a drum kit anymore. He sold it like he does with everything and had no money to buy a new one. On to drummer number 3. James was a brother of one of our friends and he had a kit. We got together on a couple occasions and realized that he would be an asset to the band so he hopped on board. A little while later we played the battle of the bands at our school and won first place. Word spread of us to a company that helps promote independent bands and they offered us a show but Nate is, as of right now, in Switzerland on exchange. Since the battle of the bands, we've played one more gig. A charity show for free the children with Off the Mark (www.mp3.com/offthemark), second nature, the scarlet halo and nexus. And here we are today.
