Artist History Since 1975 Merril James - pianist/vocalist - has performed professionally from lounge bars to concert halls, product launches to tropical islands. Merril has also released a limited edition CD-R of jazz and popular standards called ‘First Edition’. She is currently a vocal coach and piano instructor and producer for other aspiring songwriters. Her own songs have received an Award of Merit in the South Pacific Song Contest 1995, Top 5 Nomination in the Redgum Song Festival 1993 and Top 5 nomination "APRA Award - Diverse Music" Redgum Songwriting Festival 1994. This song has been written, arranged, engineered and performed by Merril.
