Artist History 26 year old David Haire a.k.a HughMannHu lives in Charlotte, NC USA and has been playing music for over 15 years. Hugh plays Turntables, Trumpet, Drum Kit, Latin Percussion, Keys, Samplers, and has played in numerous bands from punk, jazz, to hip hop. More recently he has played turntables, percussion, and trumpet with the funk, jazz, experimental groove combination and Liquilab recording artists "The X-Periment" for the past 5 years, and has played turntables and percussion in world renowned poet Ursula Rucker's back up band as well as backing internationally known hip hop acts J-Live and the Unspoken Heard. In 2001 HughMannHu won the runner up prize in the annual URB magazine mixtape contest for a 3 table mix titled "Habitat 4 HughMannity". His newest group "The Hugh Mann Rhythm Dilemma" is basically just him blending next level turntablism, nu jazz, downtempo, hip hop, latin, afrobeat, and his signature sound which he likes to call gaia boogie.
