Artist History
Empty House is no longer together. They disbanded in 1987. Their music endures however and from time to time there will be occassional uploads of various live recordings as well as studio and improvisations.
The group lasted from 1982 until its breakup in 1987. They played various clubs in New York City and New Jersey in hopes of getting signed to a record contract however like millions of other bands this did not materialize.
As a member of the band from its inception until its demise I felt that this music should get heard and enjoyed regardless of whether or not the record business thinks its worthy. Thanks to the invention of mp3's Empty House can
now be enjoyed by people world wide. (Michael Allison)
