Artist description A mix between metal and oldskool hardcore. Sometimes mixed with a little bit of punkrock. (Almost) no covers (except at shows) only home-written material. The song "Het is een nacht" has been raped by DTE by arranging it with a mix of hardcore, ska & reggae. A freestyle now & then is also part of the setlist.

Artist History summer of 1999: "Piemel" was established as a hardcore /punk band. winter of 1999: "Piemel" was put to a stop, because the bass-player and drummer wanted to dedicate more time to their other band. summer of 2001: The three surviving band-members restarted "Piemel". Together with a new drummer and guitar-player. The name was changed to "Down To Earth", and the line-up was slightly changed. fall of 2001: Despite the unimaginable good start, guitar-player Jeroen Snaayer quit the band, because he didn't have time to practise.
