Artist History
We used to play some music in other bands (The Decapitones, Abducted & Six Ways to Sunday) and now we play music together. -BIO- From the charred remains of the recent Orange County Ska scene comes Routine Riot. Consisting of Ex-members of the Decapitones and Abducted, Routine Riot was conceived in mid 1999, and has been carving a niche into the Southern California music scene ever since. With a mix they typify as “Mutt Rock,” Routine Riot fuses pop, rock, ska, reggae, and emo to create a undeniably unique sound. Anxious to present their style to the public, the band released its first piece of recorded music, a 6 song E.P., in early 2000. With current critical and all ages fan response at a definite high for such a new band, the buzz surrounding the 5-piece is guaranteeing Rr a place in the ever-evolving world of Orange County. |
