Artist description
The music of Imaginary Gallery creates a dream world of love/hate, life/death, anger/bliss and various shadings in between. The songs are constructed around slick bass lines and prominent drum rhythms which fuse together, creating a spectacular rhythm section beneath colorful splashes of crazy keyboards, haunting vocals and home-made samples. TJ uses a wide range of voices, layered together, against a framework of well-developed, listenable song structures which convey the many emotions that we, as human beings, refer to as "life". He jumps from character to character within the depths of diverse soundscapes, coming across as a vulnerable/submissive waif at one moment, and materializing into a self-assured musical assassin at the next. Imaginary Gallery sends the listener on an exhilarating journey through an emotionally-charged electrical storm. |
