Artist History DISSECTION OF THE FLY GODFLY is an all original band hailing from Dayton, Ohio. A line up of four members delivers an aggressive dose of modern industrial heavy music combining emotion and technology. Debuting at a Dayton area battle of the bands in 1997, GODFLY placed third from a field of thirty two bands. Their intense original sound and stage presence helped to establish them as major contenders in the Dayton area original music scene. Powerfully mesmerizing hooks and cutting edge technology have combined to create an original sound rapidly generating interest and fan support. The motivation behind the band is to bring back the entertainment aspect of a live performance seemingly lost with the 90's "we don't care" mentality. Couple GODFLY's passion for the stage with an image that sets them apart from the pack in an age of t-shirts and blue jeans and a theatrical, memorable performance is reborn. GODFLY is currently booking engagements to promote their new C.D. "THIMBLE FULL OF HATE".
