Led by the overwhelmingly talented singer/songwriter Dale Letcher of Amherst, Nova Scotia, the band features a mind-blowing group of performers including Peter Janes from Grand Falls, Newfoundland, on bass and back vocals (Muzzy & the Rhythm Network/Sam Moon), Bruce Carruthers of Halifax, Nova Scotia, on lead guitar and back vocals (David Alexander Band) and Benn Ross of Halifax, Nova Scotia, on drums and percussion (Mike O'Neill/Thrush Hermit/heavy meadows). This heavy hitting group has come together to create a distinct irreproducible blend of funky pop rock that even the most critical listener cannot resist.

Artist History Dale Letcher exploded onto the Halifax music scene five years ago and hasn't looked back since. Constantly packing venues locally and across the Maritimes Dale has been making fans out of musicians and critics alike. He is a founding member and remains the leader of the Halifax based group Big Fish as well as hosting the number one open mike night in Halifax at The Tickle Trunk every Tuesday. He has performed as Joseph in "Joseph and the Amazing Techni-Colored Dreamcoat" to sold out crowds, sharing the stage with some of the finest theatrical performers around. Tony Ronalds of the ECMA nominated group Kilt has described Dale as "…one hell of a songwriter!" With Dale's six song CD "West Linden Road" receiving great acclaim and outstanding sales since it's release in July of 2001 the lead track "She" has been given the nod to receive rotation on the CHUM owned radio station Q104. The Dale Letcher Band is quickly being booked for 2002 performances and can be found performing every Monday at The Tickle Trunk in Halifax. In addition to this Dale has two solo shows scheduled for the 2002 ECMA's and the Dale Letcher Band is set to perform at two ECMA main stage shows at O'Leary's. The Dale Letcher Band is currently in pre-production for a full-length CD release scheduled for mid-2002 and has a website set up for fans and industry professionals to get the low down on Dale's busy schedule. The band is reviewing several publishing and distribution possibilities as well as a video to go along with the upcoming album. Dale has laid out a strong platform for success and has begun to reap the benefits of his hard work and dedication. This steady current of talent and success will continue to flow from the focused songwriter and for those who have performed with him they are much better off for being able to share the stage with such an amazing performer.
