Artist History
Christa has been singing, writing, performing and directing since the age of 9 yrs old, has been going strong for 24 years.
She is a member of ASCAP and ownes her music agency,
CJC Music Assciates and Publishing. Also a member of Who's Who national business directory. She is releasing her newest cd called" Eclectic" in 2003!!!
There are plans for her to be releasing an all Jazz and Blues album after 2002 release. |

Press Reviews
Born in 1969 to a local artist and a local musician in upstate NY,
she was mentored by both parents in the fields of art,
music, and performing arts. Traveled with Summer Stock Theater productions
as a kid learning the facets of the stage, set design,
choreography, music, acting, etc....
By the age of 9, she landed a role in the opera “Le Boheme”
with the Utica opera guild. Following years were spent in private
study in guitar, piano, voice and viola. She received music awards
through out her grammar schooling: Music Award and General Excellence.
In 1983, at the age of 13, she was asked to teach the
“ Kids Teaching Kids” summer college program,
called “Broadway Review”.
Continued studying throughout HS as a art/music/drama major.
She was featured in many school and community performances,
groups and contests. She was keyboardist in the band
”Shadows in the rain” and 2nd chair violist in
Utica Jr. Symphony.
Was elected as president of Chorus and Art Club.
She was student co-director for advanced acting
group and was featured performer at her HS graduation.
1987,was voted “ Most Artistic” in her HS class and
received the Art Award.
Went on to college originally as a Radio/TV broadcasting
student for her first year. She continued to write and
sing in a coffee house as well as music groups around the area.
1989-1993, Christa co-developed and was hired as
Assistant Director of an after school Music Tutorial program
called “Music In The City”. It was a government grant funded
program and was successful for four years in it’s entirety.
It was developed and designed to give the “at-risk youth”
an opportunity to develop their artistic talents and it
served under the anti-drug national campaign and fiscally
sponsored by Municipal Housing Authority(HUD):
Allowing these children to get back involved in the arts
programs in the city schools.
Christa has been on TV and in the newspaper media for her
many contributions and recognition.
Christa married and had 3 children, who have been a constant
inspiration and motivation for her music and art. She has
written songs from many genres such as: pop, rock, country,
Christian contemporary/gospel, alternative, blues and jazz.
She went back to college for music performance/music business
and was on the dean’s list.
Since, she has gone on to write new original songs with her first
CD self release being ”Seven Days A Week”. Her newest CD “Eclectic”,
is to be released in 2003. She has directed music for several
church choirs for children, adults and music show pageants.
Her current hit song “ Simple Hello” and "Only A Prayer Away"is currently played
on the Indie Journal radio station, RR Radio network, current Movie credit includes
"Mahoney's Adventure" which is a short film series shown on Time Warner Cable under
the production of Time Scanlan of Scanman Productions.
She also has created her own music service/publishing
business and is a writer member of ASCAP.
She now has over 30 songs to her credit and has plans for releasing
several new CDs.
Christa does music business/ songwriting all over the US,
Canada, and with other musicians/songwriters from other
countries such as Russia and England.
