Artist History The Southern tide was formed in the summer of 2001 originating in the Ocean Beach area of San Diego. The unique sound of the band came together from our common love of southern rock and country music. This blend of styles is evident in the original songs we write and our focus on song craftsmanship, which is the hallmark of country music. The Southern Tide writes original songs first and foremost, but the band thrives on playing live performances. The bands growth musically has been from the positive energy of audience satisfaction, as well as own high standards and music integrity. Not only are we professionals working together, but the band is also bonded by close friendships. The positive feedback from our friends has been a major inspiration to our music, both in the studio and on the stage. New ideas and musical inspiration are a direct result of our close interactions connecting with our audiences as well as each other. We are always moving forward and pushing ourselves to be the best we can be as musicians and entertainers.
