Artist description A lot of the interest in recent punk bands reflect the combined influence of earlier punk in New York (such as the Ramones or the New York Dolls) with British bands such as the Buzzcocks or the Damned. This "punk revival" overlooks a lot of the most pioneering music that one might call punk, and the NERVES are well aware of this fact. These four guys create a "punk" music which is garage-y, fast, loud, and tricky. Less catchy than what most other folks would label punk, but still with very well crafted songs. Fun and a bit scary at the same time.
