Artist History
Honestly, trying to sum up Marks the Spot in a short bio, is nearly an impossible task for me. I will try to keep it as short and to the point as humanly possible, since no amount of literature would even come close to describing what MTS actually means to me.
Marks the Spot started over the internet. We were nothing more than two friends talking about music, dreams and aspirations. Eventually we got together and wrote some songs [most of which we can look back on and laugh at].
We have had the pleasure of working with a handful of friends and musicians in this band, each one bringing something special to the band that we will never forget.
Over a short period of time that has included tons of shows, a few recording sessions, and some intense parties, I feel we have learned a lot about eachother, and most importantly ourselves.
This band slowly wedged its way into our life, and before we could even realize, it completely took over.
Obviously we are going through some changes in this band. Maybe for better...maybe for worse, honestly...who fucking cares? Only time will tell, we'll just keep doing what feels right, and making music we like.
What first started out as a hobby, has become an obsession.
What was once an idiotic dream, is now our passion.
What was once a silly idea, has now transcended into a way of life.
Frankly, Walter and I would have it no other way. We are still best friends, talking about music, dreams and aspirations. Just this time we actually know what we are talking about [somewhat].
Thanks to anyone whom has ever bought, downloaded, sang, booed, made fun of, worn, hated, made out with, stolen from, drove, lied to, drummed, partied, danced, broken up with, boozed, rocked out to, or given a shit about us...we will see you all very very soon.
