Artist description
Slam tons of blast beats into a wall of 2000W of vacuum tube powered phase coherent cones pushing a B tuned violent battle, and you'll experience pure, punishing metal. Fusing the style and sound of the 90s w/ innovation of today. Kuru is worth the listen. |

Artist History
Kuru was established in the hot summer months of 2001 in Sacramento, CA. Performing in various projects prior to Kuru, creating the Grinding Death act that they have become today was easy to do. Raising from the remains of Eulogy (Brad Kobylczak, Dan Van Kuren), Sacramento's premier Gore/Grind Gods- The New Plague (Ryan Robbins), Auburn, CA's long standing Death Metal Cult, and now with the addition of the voice of "Hell Core" (Kenneth Hoffman), Kuru is preparing to demolish everything standing this Summer with their upcoming tour and releases. Currently the "In Between Worlds" MCD is out and receiving strong reviews. Currently, Kuru is still writing for their first full length album scheduled to be out in the Fall of 2003. Currently the album has a working name of "Epidemic" and will contain the material of the "In Between Worlds" MCD, as well as 8 previously unreleased tracks.
