Artist description
Ernest V. "Vic" Page was a Trumpet player, amongst MANY other things. His 30+ year old basement recordings have been resurrected here from their reel to reel graves & digitally remastered by his grandson, Dale E. Saxon. |

Artist History
Ernest V. Page was born January 16, 1902 in Farmington, NH. He graduated from the Virtuoso Cornet School in 1922. He had his own "Big Band" during the 1940's, played in the Portsmouth Naval Ship Yard Band, was a watch maker (Scott's Jewelry Store), an inventor, & more importantly, a loving grandfather who genetically passed along a passion for music. He passed away in 1978 in the presence of loved ones. He was married to the late Mabel M. Flanders - Page. |
