Artist History
Bronnt Industries Kapital are a two piece popular beat combo revolving around the nucleus of
Max Webertron (from Dusseldorf techno pioneers Meine 909) and Klauss Wickermann, a German
born librarian from Guildford. Initially commissioned to produce soporific, piped muzak to
be played in hospital trauma wards, the pair quickly moved into the darker realms of
blackened beats and suicide soundscapes after Webertron's violent religious conversion to
the Church of The Shadowchrist. The pair lost the contract with Jingle Fever Incorporated
and now operate as an autonomous musical body. Rumours that they are funded by respected
Hollywood glitterator David Hasselhoff are thus far unsubstantiated.
Following airplay on the John Peel Show and the success of their untitled EP Bronnt are currently compiling an album and other material for release. Following the bankruptcy of their Dusseldorf-based label Nicht Textilen! Aufnahmen, they have moved to Bristol, England and are releasing products through Silent Age Records. They perform Live Actions regularly. WWW.SILENTAGERECORDS.CO.UK |

Press Reviews
"Bronnt Industries Kapital have not only peered into the abyss, they've jumped in head(fuck)
first. If half of Kraftwerk had been chained to a radiator for a year, force fed bad drugs, and been finally released after developing a fetish for neckties depicting the crucifixion, THIS is what it would look like. And if Coppola remade Apocalypse Now, THIS would be the soundtrack, as Bronnt produce the precise musical embodiment of a descent into the heart of darkness. Mother of screaming Jesus, who could have expected their beautifully frazzled electronica experiments to be so savagely primal and so gracefully brutal? Techno-Teutonic twins Klauss and Max are motionless save for the occasional drag on a cigar. They barely perceptibly prod at boxes to elicit mangled, crunchy beats and twisted piano melodies from an array of weird gizmos for the warm, throbbing psychosis of 'Now Wait For Last Year' and 'You Give Drugs A Bad Name'. Fan-fucking-tastic. Someone murmurs their dissent about how it may not all be completely live, but I silence this nonsense with a threatened stab to the eyeball from the mini-umbrella from my cocktail. So Bronnt use technology rather than technology using them? Who cares? This is about as far removed from Kosheen's laughable yet horrifying Ashton Court miming debacle as you could possibly get. Bronnt Industries Kapital rock. It's official. Exclamation mark." -Frank Thanx, Venue Magazine
