We have 7, sometimes 8 members rocking the skapunkemohardcore, or, as we call it, skunkocore for all the kids at the crazy shows. Artist History Who is 32 Degrees in Hell? Why are they 32 Degrees in Hell? Where are my pants? These questions, and many more will now be answered... Genesis: Some time in the early 2000-2001 school year, Mike Hegarty and Joe Rockowitz stumbled upon an amazing discovery: joe played trumpet, mike played drums, and they both liked ska. At that time, both boys shouted "hooptie!" and decided to start a band, recruiting rob delauro for saxaphone, jeff tobias for guitar/bass/keys, garrett for smooth looks, and dave friedrich for bass. thus the "black tie affair" was formed. before the first practice the band decided they needed a trombone player. enter: david teller. little was known about this enigmatic boy from westbury, other than he played trombone and liked punk rock music. the band later discovered teller was a hippie. on the way to the first practice, member Jeff Tobias decided that 32 Degrees in Hell was a better band name. Maybe he was wrong, who knows. Well, 32 Degrees in Hell became the official band name. After claming to quit many times, founding member Joe Rockowitz was kicked out of 32 Degrees in Hell for his chronic mastubatory disorder. Garrett too departed, never to be seen or heard. If you have any information on the location of Garrett please email us. Then Sean joined the band. He sucks. With the loss of Joe at Trumpet, the spot needed to be filled. Hence the addition of Preppy Paul. He is Preppy Paul due to, well, his preppy clothing. This made 7. Due to the fact that he was friends with many of the band members, and the fact that he had a Moog Prodigy, the coolest instrument in the world, Paulie from Bethpage made 8. In the month of march, after many months together, 32 Degrees in Hell broke up, due to singer/songwriter/guitarist Sean Qualls' heroine problem. In a few weeks, they got back together for a tearful reunion show in Mike's basement. 32 Degrees in Hell is now riding the gravy train all the way to the top of the punk rock emo hardcore ska world.
