Artist History
The Generators started at the beginning of 1999. It merged together from two bands playing at that time. Members of both bands played together at a Gig in the southern part of the Netherlands and it just clicked! Sometimes you got the feeling that something is happening. The four of us got that feeling and the formula worked!
We started to work on our "GENERATORS" sound. It sounds like a burning mixture of red hot West Coast Swing and Jump Blues with Chicago influences, like The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Rod Piazza & the Mighty Flyers, T-bone Walker, James Harman Band. We play a mixture of covers and Generator Songs.
We love to play the Blues and the crowd loves the way we play the music of the old masters. Our goal is to reach out for those magic moments in time and space. We can see that our formula works when we see and hear the crowd toe-tapping and dancing during our shows! |
