Artist History
Based out of San Antonio, Texas, Something Hush strives to bring a new perspective to alternative rock. With David Purcell on drums, Blake Ryan Stephens on bass, and Jared Beck on rhythm guitar a magical combination is created that is both rare and undeniable. To this solid foundation, add Brandon Guadiano, the band's multi-talented lead singer, and guitarist, whose incredible vocals infuse heart and soul into each of their songs. With an amazing gift for relating to the listener, the band writes and arranges music that is distinctly their own... Although they have been friends for the majority of their lives, their relationship as a band began only two years ago. However, due to raw talent, hard work and sheer determination, not to mention the invaluable help of the band's Manager and Producer, Travis J. McGehee, Something Hush is on the brink of an explosive and far-reaching career.
Currently, Something Hush is performing locally and regionally in a variety of venues in order to promote their newly released full-length album, "She Takes Her Pills" Produced and Engineered by Mack Damon and Travis J. McGehee at Rhapsody Street Studios. Most recently the band performed in Austin at the "Sony Music Showcase" hosted by Sony Records (New York), Columbia Records, and Millennium Ent. Group (the management team for Backstreet Boys, N'Sinc, Britney Spears, etc.). Also, the band put on an awesome show for their Pepsi-sponsored performance in San Antonio's Annual "Holiday River Parade", which was broadcast over 36 different television networks Nationwide.
Well, I guess there is not much more to be said but for me to shut up and for you to listen............ or in other words......hush!
