Group Members Frontman Kip Overbo . A long time veteran of the Minneapolis Music Scene, is a powerful vocalist with a commanding stage presence. His credits include founding the infamous pop punk band “Outpatience” the “Robby Vinton” Band (Son of the legendary Polish Prince, Bobby Vinton and the 2 time Minnesota Music Academy Award winners Brutus Providing the foundation for Off the Hook’s infectious grooves is powerhouse drummer“Mike Johnson”, co founding member of “Brutus”. Mike’s Credits include playing with national recording artists, “Badfinger”, Columbia Recording artists “Fat Tuesday” “Suckerpunch” and Otto’s Chemical Lounge”. Melvin Johnson holds down the bottom end on bass guitar. Formerly of “Billy Club” Melvin is a multi-instrumentalist and singer who is an in demand session player as well as an electrifying live performer. Mels credits include, but are not limited to, Motown recording artist “Rosie Gaines”, “Daddy I”, “Julie Bailey” and “Show of Hands”. Lead guitarist Craig Stubbins rounds out this explosive lineup. A studio session player as well, Craig’s use of vintage and collector amps and guitars, combined with his blazing guitar style, made Stubbins a perfect fit for Off the Hook.
