Artist description
Mithra Blues is singer songwriter Andy Williamson. Although writing for some time he was only recently encouraged to bring his ideas into the public domain. The first EP 'Breathing', was a home production with a number of secondary instruments played by Andy to give a solidity to some of the songs. Since then the music has still been kept fairly close to home and only listened to amongst friends. Recently Andy has been playing at the Ridgeway Craft Centre in Sheffield, and current projects are to re record old and new material unplugged - played the way it was written! This produces a greater folk-rock feeling and natural grittiness. It should only be a matter of time before Mithra Blues hits the smaller folk/folk-rock circuits as an unplugged artist. |
