Artist History David Hartt has been performing original and cover material since he was 16 years old. He has opened for the Canadian acts "Haywire" "the Jitters" and "Gowan". David has received awards from the Billboard songwriting competition and has placed in many other songwriting competitions. In 1987 he had written and recorded the City of Timmins' 75th Anniversary song "Precious Memories". David has also performed and recorded with Shania Twain, way back when she was still Eilleen.
