Music Style Punk Rock

Artist History 'Bueller' is a relatively young punkrock band from the neighbourhood of Grimbergen, near Brussels, Belgium. The members are Birte (vocals), Jonas (vocals & bass guitar), Edwin (lead guitar), Steven (rhythm guitar) and Annelies (drums). Jonas and Steven have known each other since kindergarten and after having built tons of sandcastles at the Belgian seaside, they ended up taking music lessons together. After having annoyed the neighbours for several years they realised that the two of them (a bass player and a guitarist) couldn't quite be called a band so they looked for a drummer and another guitar player. A few 'ads' later they were found. Edwin and Christophe, two former members of 'Promise', joined 'Baby Kangaroo' in 1997. For the first time there was a real band. When Jonas met Birte, he noticed that this girl also had quite some singing skills. From then on she and Jonas took care of the vocal section. After a while the drummer needed to be replaced so they started a big search. Their efforts got rewarded: they found David, hanging out at 't Mutske, the local youth-club. With David the band took a fresh start and they were no longer satisfied with their previous band name. After endless discussions and a whole lot of crappy names, they finally found a good one: Bueller was born! With these members, Bueller gave ten shows during the next year and a half. Unfortunately David decided to quit the band: too little time for too many rehearsals. Bueller gave its last show with David on the third of February 2001 at 'This is Music' (Vilvoorde) and from then on rehearsals with new drummer Annelies started. In the month of June, after four months of practice, they made their 'come-back' at a friends birthday-party and there were many shows during September, October, November, ... Also the first demo-mini-CD 'Starring:impressions' was released in February 2002 on the 'This is Music fest II'.
