Artist History
Assembled in October of 2000, The Blue Days is fueled by a diverse group of musicians from all corners of the United States. Lead by the explosive yet soulful vocals of London's own Juliet Quentin Archard, they have become a key player in the groundbreaking sound of Hollywood's new breed of rock and roll and are currently turning the heads of its most jaded fans.
Lead guitarist/songwriter Dylan Brown hails from the northwestern corner of Montana and came to Los Angeles with the soul purpose of creating one of the best rock bands in the country. Guitarist/songwriter Will Maurer, formerly of Dara Faith (one of Philly's premier cover bands), moved out to L.A. to continue his rock and roll odyssey. Ian Barney, of Ojai, holds down the bottom end with his thunderous bass playing. Completing the rhythm section is drummer/percussionist Randy Fox. Hailing from Seattle, he earned his bachelors degree in percussion performance from Central Washington before moving out to L.A. to further his studies at M.I.T. Randy's exceptional talent was reinstated when he received full sponsorship from Axis percussion equipment.
While a few of its members still attend M.I.T., others are working professionally in the music field. With its infectious grooves and heavy riff-oriented rock, The Blue Days have arrived and are not going anywhere except to the top. Currently, they are in the process of recording their first E.P. at the world famous Enterprise Studios and are showcasing regularly. |
