Artist description
Mark Lehnhoff has been writing songs and playing guitar for more than a quarter century in Missouri and Kansas. He is an old man now of 41 and the Tokens project includes selections through the last 25 years. Originally, Mark intended to create a 3-volume set with volume 2 due sometime in 2003, but plans changed in late 2002. In November of 2002, the purchase of a (an?) historic home in Jackson County, Missouri (built in 1838) and subsequent restoration efforts sidetracked 2003 recording efforts. That is the bad news, at least from a recording perspective. The good news is if you are friend or family, or both, please contact Mark via the mp3.com contact link and stop by to visit! The Lehnhoff home is located just 5 miles off I-70 on the east side of Kansas City and is a great place to stay when traveling east or west!
Mark still intends to dust off and record around 18 to 20 additional songs; however, he may decide to produce two larger albums instead of producing the 3-volume set originally planned. There are 11 tunes on the current album: ten dual acoustic guitar tracks with vocal and one single guitar track instrumental (Fable In D Major). If you like the free downloads, please consider purchasing a CD. We need more cat food. The album will play on any CD player and also includes MP3 files for each tune as well.
Thanks for your support and best wishes! God bless America! America bless God!

Instruments
Acoustic Guitar and Vocal. Mark plays a Breedlove C-22, mahogany with cedar top. The blend of mahogany and cedar delivers a bright clear sound that still delivers warmth in the low end and is excellent for finger picking. |
