Artist description
What ever my mood is....I sit in my studio and play whatever my heart tells me to.
My CD "Dance of The Lovers" is my first and the sounds are more of an easy style with or without vocals.
I am presently working on my new CD "Harlequin" with a new sound and different styles of Instrumental arrangements.
Both projects are exciting to me and I hope you will enjoy them as much as I do !!

Artist History
I have a history of playing just for fun !! Other than playing in coffee houses and such, with recording software out there in the market, I utilise my talents in my studio (apartment).
Ultimately, I would hope my work could be found on the air waves or possibly for any genres of film.
....one day My Stage Lights might power on..... |

Press Reviews
Good work man !
Very nice rythm guitar on " 3 Strings ", nice intro too ;-)
You have the talent to find or create new rythm on your guitar and that's what I like about you, originality !
For the voice, You should have put more echo on certain pieces, that's only an opinion ;-) Your voice remind me of Julian Lennon, is it good ? well ! it will depend on you, if you like him or not ;-)
I noticed that you explored different music style and to me, it's a very good thing, 'cause you wont be out of inspiration for a long time.
Don't worry ! you're on the right track man !!!

Lo Bakin Jemkis is a fresh new artist embracing many musical genres
"What ever my mood is....I sit in my studio and play whatever my heart tells me to." he says.
"Dance of The Lovers" is my first and the sounds are more of an easy style with or without vocals. I am presently working on my new CD "Harlequin" with a new sound and different styles of Instrumental arrangements."
And different he is.
Diverse melodic patterns puts the listener at once into a serene mode, then gradually elevates them to excitement and then down again.
This performer is a joy to listen to.
As a former musician and manager myself, having traveled "the circuit" many times over 20 years, it is refreshing to hear such a unique and mature performer such as Jemkis.
There are no sidemen on his performances.
He does it all.
"New Age with an edge" is about as definitive as I can get. Listen, enjoy, and listen again.
You will never have the same experience twice.
Ron Gerston.
(Mr Gerston, a long time musician and vocalist, was a popular touring performer with "Ron & Eric" in the mid to late 1960's, having shared the stage many times with performers such as Joni Mitchell and others. He was an active member of the Toronto Folk Music Guild, helping to coordinate Mariposa Folk Festivals and was the former manager of "Downchild Blues Band")
