Artist History In the summer of 1999, front man Shane Charters began to forge a band. Full of inspiration, he asked bassist Frank Montoya to assist him on the journey, while adding (former) members Patrick Russell and Adam Reisemberg. The writing began. Over the next year, they would collaborate and record the ideas that would soon become their foundational CD, "Dear Unborn" (under the original bandname SEED). Several of the band's songs have been aired worlwide on Web Radio, and conventional U.S. radio stations. The band's initial release received over 14,000 downloads from their MP3.com site. Some of their most notable reviews came from cuts such as, "Footprints", "Sodom & Gomorrah" and "Savior"- a song that landed a respectable #22 spot on GarageBand.com's repertiore of over 15,000 songs. The band has gone through a few changes since it's inception, including the name of the band from "SEED" to , Demize. With Patrick leaving the group, Paul Burdick was approached to play guitar. Later, Adam would also leave, thereby, giving Paul free creative expression as the only guitarist. The most recent addition has been the impact of Rob Murrieta's slammin' drums! Currently, they're hard at work writing and recording new material, some of which can be heard at their live shows. This message driven band is poised to carve a deep groove in the hard rock landscape with their signature style, which combines the edge-oriented drive of today's modern rock and relentless aggression of industrial sounds!!! Demize is: Shane Charters on lead vocals and keyboards; Frank Montoya on bass and vocals; Paul Burdick on guitar and vocals; and Rob Murrieta on drums.
