Artist History
I was born in Walla-Walla, Washington in 1953. I discovered music at the age of
nine and began to play alto sax in the school music program. Then at the ripe
old age of twelve I heard my first Rock n' Roll song. It was called "She Loves
You" by the Beatles, maybe you've heard of it. What can I say, I knew then
what I had to do. I began to learn to play drums by playing along with their records.
For the next few years I played in a couple of garage bands. Then at twenty-four
I switched to bass guitar and continue to grow musically. At the age of thirty
I fell out of music until I was thirty-five when I switched to learning six-string
guitar. Then it happened, I started to write songs (by the grace of God) and
continued till I was thirty-eight.
Once again I fell out of music and didn't write anything until the events of
September 11 occurred. After ten long years I wrote a song about what happened,
it is called "Who Do You Think You Are". Now days it seems I get an idea for a
song every couple of months. Like the song I wrote about Osama Bin Laden, "You're
Wanted Dead or Alive". When I learned about the Vibe contest I said "how do you
write a song about a Car?". Then it came to me and I hope you enjoy the result.
