Press Reviews
"I caught the first performance of Über on 1/23, a superhero-style musical retelling of The Nibelungenlied adapted and directed by the very talented Frank Hundley. It may have Wagner deservedly rolling in his grave, but it's not only great fun but also intelligent, and boasts some fine performances by its cast of six (you will have to search hard to find a more spot-on Brunhild than Tomiko Peirano) as well as appealing music. (Advance information on the show called the score "industrial synth-pop"; I'd call it closer to "popera".) At $5 a pop, it's well worth checking out several of these ventures."
