Artist description Rick is currently playing with the San Diego County band Synopsis. Due to many influences, Rick expresses himself musically in a wide variety of styles and forms. He is not tied down by being a "classical" or "rock" musician since there is such a wide area of musical experiences to explore. Rick plays a variety of guitars, bass and keyboards. He may even vocalize on occasion.

Musical Influences Everything

Artist History Rick started playing the violin in the 3rd grade. He could not find a violin teacher while living in Ojai California so he switched to guitar when he was 13. He took up the piano when he was 17. Rick studied music at Grossmont, Southwestern and the University of California, San Diego. Rick has spent the last 20 years in the computer and Internet industries and has kept music a serious but unprofessional part of his life.
