Artist description
Five hard-working and hopeful individuals who have given up everything in order to pursue a career playing metal; much to the disappointment of their parents, we're sure. We don't want to be janitors when we're older. |

Artist History
Forged from immense sexual frustration and a common love for music, Pureblank was born during the summer of 2001 in Guelph, Ontario: a city renowned for its University, a wealth of hippies, topless lesbians and a wide variety of foods in the downtown core. As diverse and inviting as that sounds, lets not forget Guelphs very own Razor, the Trasheteria, or what growing up in a town where people come to start families and die is all about! While waving their middle fingers at the institutes of higher learning for the time being, the boys are focusing on their music with high hopes of acquiring a van to call home.
With just a few years under their non-studded belts, a well-received, independently released debut self-titled EP (500 copies sold!), an addition of a second guitarist, and countless shows sharing the stage with the likes of Unearth, Cradle of Filth, Shadows Fall, A Life Once Lost, Between the Buried and Me, From Autumn to Ashes, and Darkest Hour...as well as popular Canadian groups such as the End, Ion Dissonance, Headstrong and Breach of Trust...not to mention bills with nothingface and Atreyu which, due to circumstances, were cancelled. Making many friends along the way, Pureblank have big plans for the future and hope to visit your town, city, village, hamlet, bedroom or Barmitzvah soon.
