Artist description
NeverDead is a six-piece extreme metal band from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. The sound they create is something unfamiliar to most, yet is embraced for it’s uniqueness in a sea of “risk free rock”. Harder Beat Magazine named NeverDead as “one of the most promising bands of the year” in their Dec/Jan issue 2003.
NeverDead has shared the stage with signed acts such as Six Feet Under, Sworn Enemy, Skinless, Crowbar, and Internal Suffering. They have received airplay with songs from their first CD as well as their recent demo on two different local stations. Most recently a cut off of the new demo, “The Maiden in White” debuted on the air waves on 97.1 FM KEGL’s “Local Show.” DJ Robert Miguel for KEGL said “I dig the ‘Maiden’ song...it's a reaction record...the keyboard intro definitely makes the listener pay attention and it's very interesting lyrically. People dig ‘story’ songs.”
A recent review from a show NeverDead played for KEGL at Tree’s said “Tonight’s Local Show was one of the best in recent memory”…..“The sextet lived up to the hype”. “The band punished them (with everyone liking the beating) for an hour”…..”heavy music is still around and growing strong.” (Harder Beat Magazine June 2003).
Plans for this summer are to continue to play locally as well as touring regionally to promote the band. NeverDead wants to return to the studio in the fall to complete another full length CD, and continues to seek label support.

Press Reviews
Black T-Shirt Ball: NeverDead, Stillborn Nursery - Trees 5/18
Tonight’s Local Show was one of the best in recent memory. Stillborn Nursery began with pure brutality. “My America,” sent the crowd into a frenzy, as did other favorites “Life” and “Release.” The band’s stage presence tonight topped others from the past.
Next up was NeverDead, which has been getting airplay on the Rubberoom and Local Show. The sextet lived up to the hype. Their extreme music was fed to a crowd waiting for them to emerge from the underground. The band punished them (with everyone liking the beating) for an hour, ending with “The Maiden in White.” A bright note - heavy music is still around and growing strong. (IsRael caVazos)
