Artist History After writing a lot of poetry and listening to a lot of music, Geryon decided to start writing lyrics. As with most younger artists he started out with copying other band styles and the result always being a childish version of what others were doing. Regressing to his poetic style Geryon then decided to see if some of his poetry could not be set to music. It could ! After trying out with several now lost recordings the art of writing lyrics grew on him and now it was just a point of getting them set to music. After an absence of several years, his acquaintance with CRYSCENDO was reborn. CRYSCENDO had then just returned from touring as guitarplayer for CHRISTIAN DEATH's '98/'99 Pornographic Messiah tour through Europe. Being old friends they soon got together and one thing led to another. Their first songs together were meant for private use only and shall never be put on CD. Their current relationship is that of singer/songwriter and musician/songwriter. Most musical settings are Cryscendo's though lately Geryon has learned more about the instruments they use and will sometimes suggest a piece of music, even playing it once in a while. Mysts of Life is their first truelly combined project.
