Artist History
!THE SEARCH FOR A DRUMMER BOY!
Nick and Scott, from Milton PA were in search of a drummer to fulfill their punk needs when they came across Dan from Lewisburg. As soon as Dan put drum parts to three of our songs in an hour and a half, we knew he was the kid we wanted. This all happened in April of 2000.
!SECOND GUITARIST?? SURE!
Fleeing Utah was around for over a year when we decided we wanted a second guitarist to get a more fuller sound. We first had this kid named Justin that we nicknamed J.K. He wasn't really our style because he played baseball and didn't really have time to practice. So we dropped him and continued to be a trio.
!PLAYING CHECKERS WITH CHESS PIECES (PCWCP)!
Our first full length album. The sound quality really sucks but recording went very smooth, hell, it only took about three rehearsals and it was sent to be mastered.
!LAMPY!
A few months later we decided we wanted to go with a second guitarist again. A few friends of ours who were in the band Kilroy had just broken up so we jumped on their guitarist, Matt Lamparter a.k.a. Lampy. He fit right into the Fleeing Utah family and we've been rockin' out with him ever since. |
