Artist description THRUST IS: Rocky Morey: Drummer - 23 years old. Originally from Troy, NY. Computer Specialist and Programmer for Albany Medical Center. He has Computer Science degrees from Hudson Valley Community College, and NRI in Washington DC. He is currently studying CS at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Rocky has played the drums since he was 3 years old, receiving professional tutelage for 14 years in a wide range of styles. He has been fortunate enough to be featured in many talent showcases such as Star Search, and the CP Telethon. He has won many musical awards and scholarships throughout his performances. Rocky's musical influences include: Rush, Metallica, Jazz, and Latin Music. Bill Lajoy: Bassist -29 years old. Originally from Albany, NY. He works as a Legal Document Retrieval Specialist for the City of Albany. He grew up in New York before spending ten years honing his extensive talents in Houston, TX and Phoenix, AZ before returning to Albany and putting them to use in many musical ventures. Bill is a dedicated musician, and has solely been playing the Bass for 7 years. He is currently teaching lessons to students privately and learning the piano himself. Bill represents a major force in the THRUST sound as he hones the songs from their inception. His musical influences include: Rush, Van Halen, Creem, and Metallica, and The Beatles. Rodney Wiltshire: Lead Singer/Guitars/Keyboards -25 years old. Originally from Troy, NY. He is a graduate from Cornell University with a BS in Electrical Engineering, and has a patent pending for his research application in GPS (Global Positioning Systems). He recently took an Engineering position with a software firm called Vision Data Equipment Corp. Rodney has many interests in the performing arts world including acting. He has appeared in two major motion pictures (The Rainmaker, One Night Stand), and is currently writing a screenplay with a friend from college. He has been performing on stage, in bands, and composing music since Elementary school. His instruction includes; 14 years of saxophone, 10 years of guitar, and 8 years of voice (tenor). In addition to his artistic side, Rodney is also an athlete who earned All East in the Triple Jump, and a NCAA qualifier as well. His influences include: Michael Jackson, Journey, David Lee Roth, Boston, and Led Zeppelin. John Adair: Lead Guitarist/Vocals -24 years old. Originally from Albany, NY. He holds a BA in Communication Studies and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Niagara University in 1997. This virtuoso's musical tastes vary as well as his training, which include; seven years of Classical Violin (Suzuki Method), one year of Irish Fiddle, and seven years of Guitar (All Styles). From 1994-1997 John was in the band MADISON (their album DELVE was released in 96' receiving regional airplay), as well as releasing his own self-titled/performed album in 97'. John's music and playing have also been featured in various student and independent films. His musical influences include: Paul Simon, Steely Dan, The Beach Boys, Van Halen, and Rush.

Artist History We formed THRUST in October of 1997 culminating a search for a solid lineup. Our goal from the beginning has been to bring our own fervent and high-energy songs to the world of music, and re-define the standards for spectacular live performances long lost since the beginning of the 90's. Currently we are touring in support of our self-titled album on Deep Kill Records. They have teamed with RCI Records who are handling our distribution and radio promotions.
