Artist History Lots of time spent in small apartments writing infectious pop songs. Dave Pelman was born to a Native Canadian family now banished to upper Alaska. Once there he discovered and harbored a unique musical style influenced by a local tradition of explosive crying. In his early formative years Dave was known to wear knickers with his ham. Noah Lifschey, a Botswanian refugee from Maine, showed his musical prowess from an early age, when his parents discovered him shaving his bicycles. He is currently going by the alias "Rutger Hauer". The two future collaborators would meet on a hot, sweltering summer day in Boston, during an ash blizzard, while attending nursery school in England. They are not gay.
