Artist description Kristina Serra was the driving force behind the late eighties London based band “ Crash Club” , whose player included ex-members of “ Lords of the new church “ , “Hanoi Rocks” ,”The Ruts” and whose Chrysalis recordings were produced by the infamous former leader of “The Members” , Nicky Tesco. Relocating back home to Hollywood in 1991, she released her first solo CD , “Sugar Trippin” on Rude Girl Rec. with production help by Chris Goss ( Masters of Reality) and musical chores handled by Jon Brion ( Aimee Mann) , Jason Falkner ( Jellyfish ) and Dan McCarroll ( M. Penn ). Following the success of Sugar Trippin which placed in the Top 10 of the college charts throughout the states , Kristina released 2 more CD`s , “Me and baby D” and “Superstar” , both again hitting the top of the college charts and the Single “Superstar” cracking into major alternative radio playlists like LA`s KROQ , San Francisco`s KITS and Seattle`s KNED among others. Kristina`s latest CD ( and first european release ) Bon Voyage, Jetboy finds a home on Damage Records / Germany and is a rockin collection of songs recorded in both London and Hollywood with production help by Nicky Tesco , Matt Wallace ( Faith no More , Replacements etc. ) and featuring some of the coolest players around !. Not to mention the Divine Miss Sylvia Syms , one of Englands most beloved actresses , contributing her chilling vocals to the superb “Listening”.
