Artist description
Emotion: Nimbus is the sound of raw emotion, with an aggressive edge. Nimbus combines heavy drums with aggro guitar and stabbing synths to create an emotionally charged, yet aggressive and powerful sound. A vision of pain you can dance to, Nimbus' music could easily be classified as Electro/Industrial. While this classification may be accurate to some extent, Nimbus' music is more than that. Combining a classically trained pianist with rock-oriented bass, drums and guitars makes the songs heavy, yet accessible.
Our diverse musical influences include classic Industrial acts such as: Ministry, Front 242, Razed In Black, Cobalt 60, and Nine Inch Nails. We also count an array of eclectic acts as influences. Listening to artists like Tori Amos, Talking Heads, New Order have balanced our opinions on what our music should sound like. While these bands have influenced our collective vision, we strive to create a sound that is unique and has a style all its own.
